Last Thursday my nurse practitioner called and said that I needed to get more blood work done before my next ultrasound (part of the whole IPS Screening process) and oh yeah... that I was more like 17 weeks and 6 days pregnant (where I thought I was more like 15 or 16 weeks). Therefore for my new due date is February 24th, 2011.
I need to add a new belly image, I can feel like I'm growing by the minute. I'm feeling the aches more so now, and it hurts to cough and sneeze. But, I think I'm starting to feel the peanut move around. Hooray! :)
Next post you'll know what the gender is!

Just wanted to give a BIG thank you to my friend Amy who sent me a surprise gift the other week. She sent me the Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy, which is an honest book about what to expect during pregnancy.
Also thanks to Sherry for the pregnancy clothing, my old clothing doesn't fit anymore!

Nothing new this week in terms of my pregnancy, but I hope you like the new design of my blog!
I've added my blog to a blog of baby blogs. Haha. Your vote is appreciated!

I can't believe it's already 4 months! I could be even further but I'll know for sure on Oct 5th at my next Ultrasound.
I'm starting to get those weird energy boosts I was reading about. It happens at the most awful time, late at night when I want to sleep. But at least I'm able to do more and help Jesse out a bit more now. Before all I wanted to do was sleep, well I still do want to do that. :)
I finally told my boss about the pregnancy. She was happy, but admitted a bit shocked. She's been very supportive and understanding. Thank goodness! Who knew that was going to be so hard? I'm glad it's over with. I'm getting bigger and it's getting really hard to hide it!
I was also given a lot of maternity clothes from a friend this past weekend. She gave me A LOT of stuff! Thank goodness for you Sherry! You've saved me a tonne of $$$$. I really appreciate it!
I've started thinking about what to do with the nursery. But until I find out what I'm having and the renovations are done, there's not much I can do. I have found a great designer blog/site thing. I've been getting plenty of ideas:

I know it should say 14 weeks instead of 15. I found out at my appointment with my nurse practitioner on Tuesday this week that my peanut is further along than we thought. I'm more like 15 to 16 weeks. Which means I'm due approx. Feb 28th. So my baby is measuring well, and so is my belly. It was great news!
I've started my baby registry at a slow and steady pace. I'm actually quite happy I did this and what it's turning out to be. Like I said, I hate registries. But if you give yourself enough time to research the items properly before you add them you'll end up with what you need and want, rather than items you realized you didn't need and have to return or exchange. I've also had a couple good friends audit my registry. Sure enough, there were a couple of good catches I needed to change. Like, the second car seat I ordered should be an infant to toddler child seat (instead of child to toddler) that can be front or rear facing. They even noticed that someone bought my Maxi Cosi Mico infant car seat already! How exciting!
I ended up buying a black Quinny Buzz stroller for a great price! The deal also included a free Bassinet which is normally $199! I couldn't resist. My mom also couldn't resist sponsoring this purchase. :)
The other item I have bought for the peanut is a great baby monitor. It's a Philips Avent Digital Screen Monitor with DECT technology. All I know is it's good and has a lot of good ratings. I think my pops is sponsoring this one. I couldn't put it on a Babies R Us registry and again got it at a good price! :)
That's it for now! Thanks for reading!
